Walker Elliott has partnered with our client to locate a Subsea Equipment Project Engineering Manager with a strong engineering background to oversee the manufacturing and engineering projects through successful completion, ensuring they are executed within the stipulated timeframe, budget constraints, and meet the exacting standards required.


As the primary liaison for our clients, the Subsea Equipment Project Engineering Manager is entrusted with the critical responsibility of managing all corporate dealings and schedule coordination directly with the customer(s).

Position Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of five (5) + years of project engineering management experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the subsea or offshore sector.
  • Hands-on experience with SUBSEA or OFFSHORE ENGINEERING equipment and projects
  • SolidWorks or AutoCAD design experience
  • MS Project, Word Processing, and Spreadsheets



Subsea Equipment Project Engineering Manager's Responsibilities:

  • Act as the principal point of contact between the company and the client, fostering a robust relationship.
  • Serve as an internal coordinator among various departments including Management, Sales, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Develop and implement project schedules and staffing plans in collaboration with project leads, tailored to the unique demands of subsea and offshore operations.
  • Oversee the project lifecycle, from planning to execution, regularly reviewing project plans to track progress and adherence to goals.
  • Collaborate with project teams to set clear goals and priorities that resonate with the strategic vision of subsea and offshore projects.
  • Facilitate design review sessions with clients and engineering teams, focusing on the specialized needs of subsea and offshore equipment.
  • Maintain and update project schedules, delivering comprehensive progress reports that reflect the unique aspects of the subsea and offshore industry.
