SAP Functional Lead

We are looking for an experienced SAP Functional Lead with specialized knowledge in Production Planning (PP) and Variant Configuration (VC) to support our global operations. The ideal candidate will lead the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP PP and VC modules to improve business functionality and overall performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • SAP PP and VC Management: Lead and manage all aspects of SAP PP and VC, including planning, configuration, documentation, and optimization.
  • Project Leadership: Oversee SAP projects related to PP and VC from initiation to completion, managing timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful execution.
  • Business Process Analysis: Analyze and understand business processes, providing recommendations for enhancements and efficiency using SAP PP and VC functionalities.
  • System Configuration and Testing: Configure SAP PP and VC modules to meet business requirements and conduct rigorous testing to ensure system functionality.
  • User Training and Support: Develop and provide training to end-users on SAP PP and VC modules and offer ongoing support, troubleshooting any related issues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with other SAP module leads and IT team members to ensure cohesive and integrated solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and updates, recommending and implementing continuous improvements in the system.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP PP with strong knowledge in Variant Configuration (VC).
  • Proven track record of leading SAP PP and VC projects.
  • Solid understanding of integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD).

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management and organizational skills.
  • SAP certification in PP and VC is highly desirable.
  • Experience with SAP S4 HANA implementation and support is a plus.
