Role Description

This is a full-time role for an experienced Settlement Clerk based in Atlanta, GA. The Settlement Clerk will support our attorneys and clients throughout the settlement process. This fast-paced position requires strong communication skills, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to manage a large number of cases simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate settlement processes
• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and insurance companies
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all settlement cases
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines
• Assist with the preparation of settlement documents
• Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in settlement case management and planning
• Knowledge of structured settlements, IRS guidelines, and government benefit preservation
• Familiarity with attorney fee deferral strategies and trust services
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Impeccable attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Spanish speaking fluency in legal and financial terminology is a plus
• Life & Health insurance license is preferred
