Hotel Granduca Houston has set the standard for luxury service. 121 guestroom hotel, undergoing an exciting re-branding process with a first floor renovation is set to enter the luxury boutique market in 2025.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Front Desk Supervisor at Hotel Granduca Houston, TX. The Front Desk Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing front desk daily duties, assisting in managing the guest experience and guest journey through personalization of guest stays, ensuring customer satisfaction, and providing exceptional customer service on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- Supervisory Skills in a previous hotel- 4-5 start hotel strongly preferred: Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Phone Etiquette: Excellent communication skills and professionalism on the phone
- Receptionist Duties: Proficiency in handling front desk responsibilities
- Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry
- Knowledge of hotel operations and reservation systems is a plus-Opera Cloud and Alice
- ability to adapt fast to changing environments
- willingness to perform duties outside front desk to support the operation as needed
- flexible schedule
- must understand refined language and behaviours
- knowledge of LQA and Forbes standards a plus
