We are looking for a highly motivated Email Marketing Specialist with the ability to strategically craft engaging content, analyze performance data, optimize campaigns to drive results and has an interest in the beauty and skincare industry.


Job Overview:

As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth. You will work closely with the marketing team to create compelling email content, segment audiences, and analyze campaign performance metrics. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of email marketing best practices, experience with email automation platforms, and a data-driven approach to optimize campaign effectiveness.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute end-to-end email marketing campaigns, including campaign planning, content creation, segmentation, scheduling, and deployment.
  • Create engaging email content, including promotional offers, product updates, newsletters, and personalized communications, tailored to target audience segments.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing email templates and graphics that align with brand guidelines and enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Segment email lists based on demographic, behavioral, and transactional data to deliver targeted and relevant messaging to different audience segments.
  • Manage email marketing automation workflows, including setting up triggers, workflows, and drip campaigns to nurture leads, onboard new customers, and re-engage inactive subscribers.
  • Conduct A/B testing and optimization experiments to improve email performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue generated.
  • Monitor email deliverability and sender reputation, identify and resolve deliverability issues, and adhere to email marketing best practices and compliance regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
  • Analyze email campaign performance metrics and generate reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in email marketing, and propose innovative ideas and strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product, and customer support, to align email marketing initiatives with overall business objectives and priorities.
  • Monitor competitor email marketing activities and industry benchmarks to benchmark performance and identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement.
  • Assist in the management of the email marketing budget, including tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and optimizing resource allocation for maximum ROI.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience 2 years working as an Email Marketing Specialist, Email Campaign Manager, or similar role, preferably in the beauty industry.
  • Proficiency in email marketing automation platforms (Klaviyo and Attentive)
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including email design, segmentation, personalization, deliverability, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling and persuasive email content that drives engagement and conversion.
  • Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to interpret email performance metrics, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization of email marketing campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes through email marketing initiatives.
  • Interest in the beauty and skincare industry is preferred.
