Position Type: Full-Time (US Citizens/Green Card Holders preferred)


Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Quant Developer to join our dynamic team, supporting a Portfolio Manager (Credit) directly. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Python and SQL, preferably with knowledge of cloud technologies. The candidate must have a minimum of 10+ years of professional experience, with a preference for those who have developed and built a capital structure model. The role requires excellent communication skills and heavy credit experience.


Note: This position requires working in Greenwich, CT, four days per week for the first year. Afterward, the candidate can choose to work out of NYC.


Key Responsibilities:

Implement Trading Strategies: Collaborate with Quant Researchers and Portfolio Managers to implement trading algorithms and strategies.

Infrastructure Maintenance: Improve and maintain the research and trading infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Data Analysis: Perform in-depth data analysis to support trading decisions and strategy development.

Automated Reporting: Generate automated reports to assist in trading operations and provide insights to the trading team.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of trading strategies and infrastructure enhancements.


Qualifications:

Education: Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred but not required).

Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in a similar role, with significant credit experience.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and SQL; knowledge of cloud technologies is a plus.

Capital Structure Modeling: Experience in developing and building a capital structure model is highly desirable.

Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
