Vice President of Accounting and FinanceAn East Coast health care company has an opportunity to lead its accounting and finance operations. This role is responsible for all accounting operations as well as ensuring the organization's financial health through strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial compliance. This high-visibility role will lead initiatives that align with the company's mission to deliver personalized, professional care that enhances the quality of life for patients and families. This role is remote - East Coast candidates preferred.Responsibilities:Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAPManage internal controls, audit readiness, and risk managementOversee cash flow management and treasury functions Develop and execute financial strategies that support organizational growth and sustainability.Provide financial insights and recommendations to the President and executive team for strategic decision-making.Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processesCollaborate with Revenue Cycle leadership to optimize billing, collections, and reimbursementsMaintain strict adherence to all financial regulations, including federal and state healthcare reimbursement requirements (Medicare, Medicaid).Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Qualifications:Minimum 8-10 years of progressive financial leadership, preferably in home and hospiceUndergraduate degree in Finance or AccountingCPA or MBA preferredStrong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models, Medicare/Medicaid regulationsPrior experience with a PE-owned company preferred18309
