Job Duties:


  • Aid passengers in boarding
  • Collect fares, issue transfers, and check passes
  • Drive along established routes to local destinations
  • Drive buses equipped for wheelchair accessibility
  • Drive buses to transport passengers
  • Load and unload passenger's luggage
  • Provide information on fares, schedules and stops
  • Provide information on points of interest
  • Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents
  • Transport passengers around tour routes
  • Travel to intercity or long distance destinations


Education:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Some secondary school education


Qualification:

  • Air brakes endorsement program completed
  • Commercial driver's license
  • First Aid certification
  • Good eyesight
  • One year of safe driving experience
  • Class 2 driver's license
  • Class B driver's license
  • Airbreaks & p endorsement
