Job Description:

Better Life Medical & Surgical Supply is seeking a licensed and experienced Orthotics Fitter & Pedorthist to join our team on an on-call basis. This role involves coming in only when we have a patient in need of orthotic fittings, providing quality and personalized fitting services for our diverse patient community.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate orthotic and pedorthic assessments and fittings based on individual patient needs and prescriptions.
• Educate patients on the use, care, and benefits of their orthotic devices, ensuring optimal comfort and support.
• Work collaboratively with the Better Life Medical & Surgical Supply team to meet high standards of patient care and service quality.
• Maintain accurate records of fittings and patient interactions.
• Ensure all equipment and orthotic products are used and handled in compliance with best practices and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Active Orthotics Fitter & Pedorthist license required.
• Proven experience in orthotics fitting and pedorthic assessments.
• Excellent communication skills to provide compassionate and clear guidance to patients.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering personalized, high-quality patient care.
• Ability to work flexibly on an on-call basis, responding to patient needs as they arise.
