Position Overview:
Pride Health is seeking an experienced Dialysis Technician to join our team of medical professionals at our clinics in Monroe, WA. This contract position offers an opportunity to provide compassionate care to renal dialysis patients, working alongside a team of healthcare providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. As a Dialysis Technician, you will be responsible for patient care during dialysis treatments, ensuring protocols are followed, and assisting patients in maintaining their kidney health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide dialysis treatments under the supervision of a Registered Staff Nurse, following specific protocols and safety measures.
- Patient Education: Train patients on performing dialysis at home when appropriate, and assist in educating at-risk community members about kidney health.
- Support Team: Collaborate with the medical team to ensure optimal patient care and provide necessary documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Monitoring: Monitor patients during dialysis sessions, observing vital signs and patient condition, and reporting any significant changes to the supervising nurse.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must have an active Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-HT) certification or ability to obtain.
- Certifications: Current Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) or Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) certification, CPR with BLS certification (American Heart Association required).
- Experience: Previous dialysis experience required.
