The Role


Reporting into the Director of Engineering as an Electronics Technician, you will be involved in supporting our engineering, test, and technical services for our powerful manufacturing facility. This is an exciting new role due to significant company growth with opportunities to learn and grow into an engineer.


What will I be delivering?


  • Assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic components and systems.
  • Working with the Test Technician to document test results and record test data.
  • Interpreting, drawings, manuals, and instructions to perform duties.
  • Inspection of electronics and completing soldering/rework as required.

What do I need to bring with me?


Demonstrated knowledge and experience


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Use of PCs and their operating systems.
  • Experience in an electronics or manufacturing environment.
  • Wiring and soldering.
  • Mechanical assembly.


Technical skills and qualifications


  • Experience with soldering, reworking, and inspecting of fine electronics components.
  • Current or previous certification to J-STD-001 or equivalent.
  • Familiar with IPC standards such as IPC-A-610, certification a plus.
