Position Overview:
The Junior Graphic Designer will play a key role in upholding AMO Denim’s visual identity by crafting compelling, brand-aligned designs across both digital and print platforms. Working closely with the marketing, e-commerce, and design teams, this role will bring AMO’s visual storytelling to life through email campaigns, paid media, website assets, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Design and Development
- Maintain and evolve the brand’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
- Assist in executing creative ideas for marketing campaigns, lookbooks, and branded materials.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop graphics for apparel.
Digital Content Creation:
- Design engaging content for social media and paid social platforms (Meta, Pinterest, etc.) that aligns with AMO Denim's aesthetic.
- Develop email marketing assets (graphics, banners, templates) for campaigns and automated flows in Klaviyo.
- Design website assets, including homepage sliders, product visuals, and landing pages, optimized for Shopify.
Print and Packaging Design:
- Design and produce print materials. Lookbooks, line sheets, hangtags, postcards, and other collateral.
- Support the creation of branded product packaging.
Photography and Retouching
- Retouch and optimize images for web and print use.
- Assist with photoshoots including layout design, image selection, and editing to ensure brand alignment.
Collaboration and Project Management
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and E-commerce, to execute on design needs and meet deadlines.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring efficient file organization and delivery of polished final assets.
- File Management: Organize design files and assets for easy access and team collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of professional graphic design experience in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle industries.
- Skills:
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Familiarity with Shopify, Figma, and Klaviyo is a plus.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Excellent attention to detail and an eye for clean, creative design.
- Ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing clean, on-brand design work across digital and print mediums (required).
Bonus Skills
- Experience with motion graphics or video editing (After Effects or Premiere Pro).
- Photography skills, including retouching visuals.
