Position Summary:

A healthcare facility in Reidsville, GA, is seeking an experienced Registration Manager to lead and support the Registration and Financial Counseling departments. This role involves overseeing reservations, preregistration, insurance verification, and patient registration for both inpatients and outpatients, while also guiding financial counseling processes. The Registration Manager will ensure the accurate collection and entry of patient data and uphold the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the Registration team in gathering and accurately entering patient information, including insurance details, into the system.
  • Train and support Registration Clerks on essential topics, including Conditions of Admission, advance directives, HIPAA, Medicare Secondary Payor, and patient rights.
  • Address and resolve patient concerns with a focus on professionalism and empathy.
  • Assist in updating departmental policies, maintaining insurance files, and facilitating clear communication within the team and across departments.
  • Demonstrate respect and provide clear explanations to patients and families.
  • Maintain thorough documentation, operate all equipment safely, and manage supply orders.
  • Oversee patient valuables and ensure proper operation of the department's safe.


Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of hospital experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
