Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Location: Orlando FL

Pay: 125K-160K


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, and overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The Project Manager will work closely with clients, contractors, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver successful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget. Ensure all project requirements and goals are clearly defined.
  • Budget and Cost Management: Monitor and manage project budgets. Track expenses, ensure financial efficiency, and handle procurement of materials and subcontractors.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and other personnel. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Develop detailed schedules for the construction process, coordinate tasks, and ensure work is progressing as planned. Address delays or obstacles promptly.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and resolve issues.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks throughout the project and implement mitigation strategies. Handle any project issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients. Provide regular project updates, respond to client concerns, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all construction activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Oversee safety procedures and enforce a culture of safety on-site.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, permits, and daily logs. Submit progress reports to senior management and clients.
  • Post-Construction: Oversee final inspections, ensure that all punch list items are completed, and help with project handover and close-out procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Buildertrend) and other relevant tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Strong budgeting, negotiation, and contract management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
