1st Shift (8am to 5pm or 7am to 4pm)

Aegis Worldwide is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a leading manufacturer of custom industrial equipment. This is at a smaller company where you'll have a large footprint with growth opportunities. An Ideal candidate is someone with 2+ years of experience in a mechanical design engineer related role, looking to grow or challenge their skillset as you'll have a lot of opportunities to learn and grow within the role

Base Pay: 80k - 90k

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related.
• 2+ years of experience at a mechanical engineer, product engineer, design engineer or related role.
• Machine Design Experience is preferred but also open to industrial equipment, electro-mechanical or mechanical products that have an industrial application. Pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
• Knowledge of or experience working in a metal fabrication, machining, and welding environments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Customization and design of all new and existing product orders from customers.
• Using SolidWorks for the 3D solid modeling/prototyping.
• Juggling several different equipment projects at one time, but primarily focused on the actual design activities that go along with an Engineering position.
• Working in a collaborative environment
