Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will:

  • Identify, prioritize and sequence the project goals; identify key stakeholders who will need to be engaged to assess impact of contract proposals (systems, processes, practices, existing policies)
  • Design and facilitate working sessions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand, document, and prioritize requirements
  • Identify and refine processes where the proposed process will integrate with other department operational rules, policies and procedures
  • Produce clear and detailed project documentation and maintain repository as well as an estimated implementation schedule, spending plan, and business case to secure funding for the chosen solution
  • Assist the team to design organizational structures and role definitions for how support should be implemented
  • Identify critical day-to-day management within the departments in which unionized employees work.
  • Develop content for workshop sessions regarding new processes and workflow customized to appropriate audience including staff, supervisors, managers and faculty.
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Human Resources experience in a Unionized environment
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Demonstrated relevant experience managing administrative projects
  • Computer savvy
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Solid analytic, problem-solving and root-cause identification skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
