Houston, United States Gotham Enterprises Ltd Full time
Be Part of our Growing Team as a Remote Mental Health Counselor

We are a tech-enabled healthcare company. We provide quality mental health care, backed by science, and delivered with humanity. Using an evidenced-based Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) counseling approach, our patients complete live video sessions with their therapist as well as self-guided video lessons outside of session.

We firmly believe in extending care to those who need it most, encompassing our general mental health population, individuals facing an elevated risk of suicide, and adults. We are excited to announce that we are looking for driven individuals like yourself to join us in shaping people's journeys toward greater emotional resilience and personal growth

What You'll Gain:

  • Unprecedented impact: You will use the evidence-based practices to help clients reach their treatment goals.
  • Professional growth opportunities and clinical support: You will receive clinical support through weekly live drop-in consultation sessions with leadership and free monthly continuing education training (CEUs)
  • Custom-built tools: Enjoy our easy-to-use electronic medical record (EMR) integrated with treatment software, assessment tools, progress monitoring, and crisis protocols for streamlined documentation and efficient, effective care
  • Billing support: Our therapist and client support teams handle all the billing so you can focus on providing care
  • Operational support: Our operational support teams provide clinical drop-in hours, IT support, member account/insurance support, and more

Your Role as a Mental Health Counselor

  • Provide weekly evidence-based care through live video sessions to individual adults
  • Collaborate with other psychiatric providers to support comprehensive treatment and with fellow counselors
  • Draw on automatically administered symptom self-assessments, functional improvement, and goal progress measures to monitor and adjust treatment plans
  • Receive support and consultation from the team when needed

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) from an accredited program
  • Experience working with higher risk populations and/or adult population
  • Preferably 2 years of recent experience providing cognitive behavioral therapy and other evidence-based interventions to individual adults struggling with a diverse range of mental health disorders
  • Must welcome treating all populations, comfortable working with a diverse range of mental health disorders and committed to delivering culturally responsive care
  • Tech-savviness and enthusiasm for integrating digital solutions into clinical practice

Benefits

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of $115,000 to $130,000 commensurate with experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off
  • Opportunities for professional development and continuing education
  • Supportive and collaborative work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement
  • Meaningful work that makes a positive difference in the lives of individuals, couples, and families
  • 100% remote, telehealth position
  • Create your own schedule, Monday - Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
  • No on-call work

We know that diversity makes for the best problem-solving and creative thinking, and are committed to equity and inclusion. We are dedicated to adding new perspectives to the team and encourage everyone to apply if their experience is close to what we are looking for.
