Job Description

Walters Balido & Crain, a mid-sized Texas-based civil litigation and insurance defense firm is seeking to hire a full-time on-site Data Entry Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for processing case-related vendor invoices in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.


Candidate must be within 20 miles of 75231.


***This is not a remote or hybrid position.***


Position Summary

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for entering data into our computerized database system in a timely, accurate manner while meeting client/company guidelines and specifications. This position works closely with the other team members to ensure that all invoices are processed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.


$16 - $18/hour


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Typing Speed: 45+ wpm (REQUIRED)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Proficient in data entry.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Attention to detail (REQUIRED)
  • Detail and solution-oriented.
  • Self-starter, results-driven, and dependable.
  • Thrives in an environment where data reconciliation is critical and time is of the essence with aging invoices.
  • Ability to accept and adapt to company and departmental changes.


Responsibilities

  • Management of the case-related vendor invoices inbox for incoming invoices
  • Review of vendor invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to processing
  • Investigating invoice discrepancies within internal system
  • Follow-ups on all e-bills
  • Uploading expense-only invoices to e-billing sites
  • Communicating with both internal team members and respective clients
  • Research of and correction of any discrepancies
  • Scanning and saving all invoices and related support electronically in compliance with record retention policies
  • Responding to all inquiries in a timely, professional, and efficient manner; and
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Billing Manager/Supervisor
