About You:

You’re a finance professional with a strategic mindset and a keen understanding of the B2C landscape. You excel at financial modeling, forecasting, and translating numbers into actionable insights. You're highly analytical and possess the ability to support various departments within the organization by tracking and analyzing marketing and sales data. You’re comfortable influencing stakeholders across all levels and can simplify complex financial concepts to help drive key decisions. Your Excel skills are top-notch, and you either have basic SQL knowledge or are excited to learn.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting & Reporting: Manage the forecasting and reporting process for major departments within the organization, providing clear insights into performance and guiding strategic decisions.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models that support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning for the business.
  • Tracking & Analysis: Track and analyze key business and financial KPIs, including marketing and sales data, to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and other departments to provide financial insights and support, enabling each team to make informed decisions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Provide actuals and variance analysis, offering insights on financial performance compared to forecasts and identifying drivers of deviations.
  • Market & Business Insights: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and customer insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing forecasting and reporting processes for multiple departments within an organization, ideally in a B2C company.
  • Ability to track, analyze, and interpret KPIs to assess current and future risks and opportunities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional partners at all levels of the organization.
  • SQL proficiency (or willingness to learn) to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a knack for deriving insights from data.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment is a plus.
