Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic products down to the sub-assembly and/or component level.
  • Test and troubleshoot various Mobile/Fixed Video systems and peripherals using test stations and industry-standard diagnostic equipment.
  • Work from schematics, drawings, inspection reports, engineering documents, and instructions from the supervisor.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, repeatability, and reliability in work performed.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Customer Service departments.
  • Adhere to ESD practices.


Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in troubleshooting electronic printed circuit assemblies.
  • Strong understanding of Analog and Digital Electronics.
  • Proven skills in circuit analysis, fault isolation, and root cause determination.
  • Proficiency with DVMs, oscilloscopes, and other general-purpose test equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of computers, networking concepts, MAC IDs, and IP addresses.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work independently and support production requirements.
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills.


Preferred:

  • 2- or 4-year Technical Degree.
  • Previous work experience as a repair/return technician in the electronics industry.
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies and processes.
  • Ability to work within a diverse cultural work group and fit into the company culture.
