We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the accounts receivable function of DECKED. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear cross-function communication skills. The Accounts Receivable Accounting Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, collections, credit exposure, and reconciliation of accounts receivable transactions. This role requires a proactive individual who can develop and implement strategies to optimize the accounts receivable process and minimize bad debt risk.


Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the accounts receivable process including invoicing, collections, and cash application for both D2C and B2B customers

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective accounts receivable management

- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collection

- Review and approve credit applications and establish credit limits for customers

- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve customer inquiries and disputes

- Analyze accounts receivable data and prepare regular reports for management review

- Lead, mentor, and develop accounts receivable staff to ensure high performance and productivity

- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts

- Implement controls to mitigate risks associated with accounts receivable processes

- Continuously evaluate and improve accounts receivable processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

- Assist with entity management, including state and local tax filings and compliance


Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or relevant professional certification is preferred

- Proven experience (3-5 years) in an accounting/finance role, preferably in a managerial role

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices related to accounts receivable

- Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel is preferred

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders

- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of leading and developing teams

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
