As a member of the Software Engineering department you’ll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, superconducting foundry engineers, and software engineers to make our technologies a reality. This position will serve on-site at Advanced Technology Laboratory (ATL) in Linthicum, MD. The scope of position is to support the software engineering projects UI/UX design to ensure high adoption of the software products by user. Design and develop an automated test software suite for a legacy application. The team is of 10, 8 software developers, SM, PO’s as part of an agile software development team. The technical environment is supporting a legacy COTS software with C++, Winform, and MySQL backendResponsibilities :Stand-up software test architecture for a legacy COTS applicationCollaborate with developers, SM, and PO’s to identify critical testsWrite and perform all tests to ensure quality software products prior to software release2 week sprints with backlog refinement and planning Complete work within sprint with the review/support of teammatesRequired Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experienceWorking knowledge in one of the following languages: C++, WinformsExperience in developing unit tests, refactoring code, and smoke testsDemonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Preferred Skills & ExperienceExperienced in creating and deploying a test architecture for legacy applications.Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.Utilized Atlassian software suite.Experience working within an Agile Scrum frameworkSincerely,Preetam RajLead Technical RecruiternTech Workforce Inc D: 410-505-4857 EXT: 726E: preetam@ntechworkforce.compreetam(at)ntechworkforce(dot)com
