Pride Health is hiring a phlebotomist II to support our client’s medical facility in Overland Park, KS. This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization

Responsibilities:

Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.

Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Committed to all Policies & Procedures including Company dress code, Employee Health & Safety, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles.

Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.

Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record, if applicable.

Travel and flexible hours are required to work multiple locations and cover Patient Service Center/In-Office


Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections, is required.

Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

Customer service in a retail or service environment is preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience.


Additional Information:

Location: Overland Park, KS

Job Type: 3-month contract

Schedule: 1st Shift 7:30 am-4:30 pm, Saturday rotation 7 am-12 pm

Pay Range: $19 - $21/hr.


*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
