You'll be the go-to expert for key performance indicators (KPIs) and handle data inquiries from various revenue cycle and clinical departments. Your day-to-day duties will involve extensive Excel operations, working with multiple reporting interfaces to retrieve data, create reports, and conduct in-depth analyses. Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Report Development & Maintenance: Act as the primary resource for developing and maintaining reports used as key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks for revenue cycle performance.
  • Resource Utilization: Utilize internal and external resources to determine and create consistent revenue cycle reports.
  • Collaborative Support: Work collaboratively with the Revenue Cycle Team and provide exceptional customer service in response to inquiries from other departments and external parties.
  • Coordination & Definition: Coordinate with revenue cycle, finance, and compliance staff to define reporting needs, identify data sources, and determine the best reporting tools. Develop reports or communicate requirements to relevant internal staff or business partners.
  • Report Validation: Reconcile and validate reports and metrics, performing reasonableness comparisons to ensure data accuracy.
  • Education & Training: Serve as the primary educator and trainer on revenue cycle processes, reports/KPIs, and related policies and procedures.
  • Technical Research: Conduct technical research and document findings to support the development of new processes, reports/KPIs, and benchmarking data.
  • Dashboard Management: Create and modify dashboards to distribute data meaningfully to Revenue Cycle Directors, Executives, and clinical areas as needed.
  • Issue Identification: Use analytics and critical thinking to identify and clarify revenue cycle issues.

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm


Location:

  • Methodist Corporate Office- 825 S 169th St, Omaha, NE


Salary:

  • $22.00-$35.20


Job Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; college courses in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or Finance preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a hospital or large multi-specialty physician group setting required.
  • Excel Proficiency: Several years' experience using advanced Excel functions for data compilation and analysis required.
  • Revenue Cycle Analysis: 2-3 years’ experience analyzing various components of revenue cycle metrics preferred.
