Financial Analyst Job Summary

The GSC Financial Analyst is the point of contact for finance support of supply chain activity. This role will lead product costing activity for products sold between the two companies on a temporary or indefinite basis. It will collaborate with other finance groups such as controllers and FP&A as well as with operations functions both at manufacturing and nonproduction sites. The role will also be responsible for managing separation department expenses and headcount, working with department heads to review results, and forecast ahead. This person will also be familiar with other, more specific activities such as cross company R&D and factory experiment procedures to provide financial support and counsel to operational stakeholders.


What you'll do as a Financial Analyst:

  • Provide product costing for additions to Supply Agreements and Transition Contract Manufacturing Agreements
  • Lead the annual product costing process for Agreement SKU's
  • Determine price changes to existing agreement SKU's and make corrections to price or unit of measure as needed
  • Collaborate with controllers to determine and understand applicable journal entries and develop associated management reporting
  • Provide support to plants providing contract manufacturing services and plants receiving products on transition agreements
  • Manage separation cost centers by tracking headcount and expense reporting, ensuring eligibility of expense in these cost centers
  • Review results with department owners and forecast on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Summarize and communicate results and forecasts to supply chain finance and FP&A stakeholders
  • Provide support for R&D services, factory experiments in plants and vice versa to ensure compliance with respective agreements


What you’ll bring to the Financial Analyst role:
