Senior Architect


Responsible for field measurement, drafting, designing drawings, and construction documentation, with proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of building codes.


Responsibilities:

· Designing, producing construction documents, obtaining building permits

· Complete construction documents, and knowledge of building systems and building codes.

· Prepare and coordinate design development and construction documents.

· Coordination with contractors, engineers, and vendors during design

· Involvement in multiple projects at any time.

· Develop design schemes and make feasibility studies

· Evaluate, and integrate construction and engineering systems with program, code, and context parameters.

· Field measure

· Drafting

· Design drawings & presentations

· Construction documentation

· Project quality, standards, specifications

· Perform other related duties as assigned.


Requirements:

· Must have 4+ years of current commercial experience

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture

· Must have CT Licensed Architect Stamp

· Must have experience with drafting, designing, construction documents, building systems and building codes

· Strong experience coordinating with contractors, engineers, and vendors

· Proficiency with AutoCAD software
