Audio Technician

We are looking for a Jr. Audio/Visual Technician readily available to work in Costa Mesa, CA. The Audio/Visual Technician will be on a team responsible for audio-visual technology, conference room technology, live event technology, video conferencing technology and other various technologies that are in use at the vicinity for events and day to day.


Top Must Haves:

  • Excellent white-glove/Customer Service
  • A/V Set-up and troubleshooting experience
  • PC/Mac hardware and software experience
  • Basic networking experience and understanding for connectivity and troubleshooting


Responsibilities for Events A/V Technician:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the AV industry
  • Advances knowledge and experience with AV set-ups and strikes
  • Background in customer service or hospitality experience required
  • Certification in AV technology or related courses (preferred).
  • Audio - microphones, speakers, sound systems, channel mixers, etc.
  • Video - LCD, LED, projectors, screens, monitors, etc.
  • Lighting - GOBO, gels, uplighting, basic lighting kits, stage lighting, etc.
  • Computers - Advanced knowledge on PC and Mac software
  • Client interactions with outstanding customer service and great communication – good personality fit for this role
  • Recognize and resolve ongoing audio and video issues in conference room spaces to improve user experience/equipment
  • Setup/troubleshoot speakers, mixer, mics, and possibly projectors for conferencing rooms, events and meetings
