Our Client

Our client, a premier real estate law firm in Atlanta, seeks a commercial real estate associate attorney to join their commercial real estate team. This firm is known for dominating the residential and commercial closing department, and has enjoyed particular success with developers and joint-venture programs. Attorneys enjoy a well-managed firm with a strong business development program and a culture that promotes work/life balance.


The Opportunity

  • Drafting, reviewing and editing high volume of documents including contracts and amendments, transactional closing documents, easements, cost sharing agreements, memorandum of agreements, etc
  • Review title, survey(s)/site plans, contract and other deal specific information and identify red flags and/or issues, material v. nonmaterial items/info, etc.
  • Work with title attorney on title clearances matters and clearance documents


Qualifications

  • The attorney will possess 5+ years of commercial real estate transaction experience within a law firm environment. Leasing work is not a part of this practice.
  • Knowledge of Georgia CRE transactions and industry, and the acquisition and development process (contract, title, easements, due diligence, closing)
  • Land acquisition, developer and/or homebuilding industry experience would be a plus
