Payroll Specialist


Location: Morrisville, NC



Pay: $55-$65k


Type: Direct Hire


Hours: 8-5 M-f


Schedule: ***MUST work fully on site 40 hours a week


MUST have: Paylocity


Experience: 3-5 yrs, preferably from manufacturing


Processes payroll:


Monthly for salaried employees


Biweekly hourly employees


Software: Paylocity - Must



Responsibilities:


Managing the end-to-end payroll process, including both salaried and bi-weekly employees utilizing Paylocity.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, and benefits.

Administering employee benefits programs and responding to employee inquiries regarding benefits.

Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding process, including facilitating new hire orientations.

Managing employee leave requests, time off, and attendance records.

Overseeing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Providing HR support to employees, answering their questions and addressing concerns.

Assisting in performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.

Contributing to HR projects and initiatives that support the company's overall HR strategy.

Maintain service award program and other employee relations programs.


Requirements:


Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field (preferred).

3-5 years proven experience as an HR Generalist with expertise in payroll processing.

Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.

Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and payroll software.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong competency in MS Excel.
