Subassembly Planner

American Precision is currently seeking a highly skilled Subassembly Planner to join our planning team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in aircraft and spacecraft subassembly planning, exceptional attention to detail, proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with existing planners to develop comprehensive subassembly plans for aircraft and spacecraft components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to accurately plan subassembly processes.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely completion of subassembly tasks.
• Prioritize departmental responsibilities based on project deadlines and company objectives.
• Uphold company policies and procedures to maintain quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Dependable and able to meet deadlines consistently.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (specifically: Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)

This is a full-time on site position at our office in Huntington Beach, CA.

Pay Scale: $25-$35 an hour depending on experience.
