Essential Duties:


  • Welding Proficiency: Perform welding tasks using assigned techniques with expertise.
  • Mechanical Drawing Interpretation: Understand and interpret mechanical drawings and weld requirement symbology.
  • Material Knowledge: Apply knowledge of wire and filler materials for various steel alloys, aluminum, and exotic materials.
  • Weld Setup: Set up welding parameters, including amps and volts, for fixturing.
  • Measuring Instruments: Utilize conventional and precision measuring instruments.
  • Inspection and Documentation: Conduct process inspections, certification, and documentation.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform maintenance on welding equipment.
  • Finish Grinding: Apply finish grinding using manual and power tools.
  • Safety and Housekeeping: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the area supervisor.


Minimum Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: One year of experience in various forms of welding.
