Description:

The IT generalist is responsible for all aspects of the company’s information technology infrastructure, hosted software infrastructure, and technical support for company employees and contractors. The position requires a strong knowledge of information

technologies and excellent intrapersonal communications and a high level of patience. Must be able to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Support of company information technology infrastructure.
• Perform installations and updates for IT hardware and software systems.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of company network, servers, AWS infrastructure, telecommunications systems, and other company networked systems.
• Build, support, and maintain employee computers.
• Provide technical support to employees and contractors
• Research, recommend, and implement IT policies and procedures
• Research, recommend, implement, and manage enterprise software and hardware systems
• Manage administration of user accounts and licenses
• Identify and resolve technical issues
• Monitor IT systems for proper operations and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, management information systems, computer science, or related degree.
• 2+ years of experience in an information technology department.
• Experience managing AWS infrastructure.
• Experience managing Microsoft 365.
• Experience maintaining Windows and Linux servers.
• Experience maintaining Windows and Mac PCs
• Highly organized
• Strong desire to help colleagues
