Plant Controller

Diversified Recruitment is seeking a Plant Controller that will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations for two regional plants. This includes overseeing the day-to-day finance operations and to provide plant operational management with financial feedback. The Plant Controller will be responsible for overseeing month end; expenditure management, periodic financial forecasts, financial systems management, financial operations & analysis, and ensuring strong financial internal controls are in place.

The Role:

• Act as financial advisor and business partner to plant team.
• Prepare reports and analysis to help plant management make good business decisions.
• Provide regular reporting of department and plant performance to the appropriate managers and participate in corrective action plans as needed.
• Develop an annual business plan with assistance from department managers and corporate staff
• Provide regular financial forecasts as required
• Prepare and/or administer the preparation of month-end financial statements and associated journal entries
• Analyze balance sheet accounts as required
• Maintain timely and accurate production and inventory reporting systems

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance
• 5-10 years of Plant Finance experience with Management responsibilities
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with accurate results.
