Position Overview

As a software engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing the user facing application to our simulation tools, ensuring ease-of-use, customer alignment, and scalability. At a growing startup, you will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will have a major impact on the direction, decisions, and success of Autonoma. We are looking for someone driven, resilient, creative, and always willing to learn.

Responsibilities
  • Help drive the development of our scalable simulation platform.
  • Create easy-to-use tools to solve customer needs.
  • Take ownership of your software from ideation to deployment.
  • Collaborate closely with a high-performance team.
Qualifications
  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in developing and deploying high-quality software solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • US citizen, permanent resident, or right-to-work visa holder.


Desired Skills (candidates do not need to have all)
  • Experience with modern web technologies/frameworks.
  • React, TypeScript, CSS.
  • C++ or Python.
  • Web visualization (WebGL or Three.js).
  • Eye for application design.
  • AWS/Cloud Architecture.
  • Game engines, such as Unreal Engine 5 or Unity.
  • Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • DevOps/CICD pipelines.
  • Autonomous vehicles/robots.
