The Congregational Care Pastor is primarily responsible for providing pastoral care to the members and families of our church and to ensure that each member receives the attention needed from our church during times of crisis and transition. The person in this position will develop and implement a progressive nurturing approach that will help guide people through relationship, health, financial and other life situations or losses that may stall or inhibit their spiritual growth.


Qualifications: An associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred and/or equivalent experience in church leadership and pastoral care. You must be a licensed minister. The person in this position must enjoy people and will most likely have the spiritual gift of exhortation (encouragement and edifying others). This person must possess the ability to work without close supervision; have the ability to communicate effectively; possess organizational skills; be a person of warmth and compassion; and be willing to adopt a flexible working pattern that includes extensive travel after-hours and weekends.
