Financial Planning Analyst

Founded in 2008, this premier midstream company based in Dallas, specializes in the transportation, storage, and processing of natural gas and petroleum products. Their mission is to provide safe, reliable, and efficient midstream services that drive energy security and economic growth.
As they continue to expand and enhance operations, they are seeking a talented and dynamic FP&A Analyst to join the team. With a recent migration to NetSuite, they are looking for an individual who can leverage this powerful platform to drive financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.
Main Details:
The FP&A Analyst will play a key role in the company's financial strategy and planning. This position involves working closely with senior management to provide insights that will shape the future of the company.
Day to Day:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Prepare detailed variance analysis and financial performance reports.
- Design and generate dynamic financial reports and dashboards in NetSuite.
- Create and maintain KPIs to monitor business performance.
- Deliver regular and ad-hoc financial reports to various stakeholders.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasting activities.
- Support strategic initiatives with financial analysis and modeling.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Must Have's:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with hands-on experience in NetSuite.
- Strong proficiency in NetSuite, Excel, and financial modeling.
- Experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with SuiteAnalytics and SuiteFlow.
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with financial planning software such as Adaptive Insights or Anaplan is a plus.
