Metallurgist

We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with an Metallurgist search in the Youngstown, OH area.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate directly with R&D, Engineering, and Sales personnel, and directly with customers to discuss potential or existing metallurgical projects.
• Perform routine metallographic examination analysis, and analytical investigations.
• Interpret and validate results and data.
• Operation, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory metallurgical testing equipment

Requirements:

• Experience as a Metallurgist or Material Science Engineer
• Proficient with Laboratory test methods and quality standards
• Experience with metallurgical testing equipment
