AWS Techlead

Infrastructure Design, DevOps and Security:

· Over 5 years in Design and Develop AWS Services including AWS Outposts setup, configuration security controls, access policies, and encryption mechanisms for on-premises and for AWS services.

· Design and Develop AWS data storage and compute resources (such as EC2) for workloads running on AWS Outposts.

· Experience in the lead in implementing CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) practices.

· Design code onto AWS Outposts and other AWS Services, streamlining the development and deployment process.

2. Data Integration Experience:

a. Collaborate with the architecture team to standardize applications for data integration to the cloud.

b. Proven technical expertise on AWS services and assist in the migration process.

3. Monitoring and SLA Management:

a. Design and implement robust monitoring tools for continuous tracking of Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

b. Proactively identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and optimize AWS resources

Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership and Mentorship:

a. Lead the offshore team members in a collaborative environment for financial industry encouraging knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.

b. Ensure compliance with financial industry and best practices related to AWS Services and experience in integrating on-prem and cloud resources

2. Code Reviews and Best Practices:

a. Conduct thorough code reviews, emphasizing coding standards, best practices, and maintainability.

b. Collaborate with developers to improve code quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

· AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) preferred.

· Strong experience with AWS services, including Outposts, EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.

· Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
