Job Summary:

The Sales Engineer serves as a liaison during the sales process when complex manufacturing and troubleshooting issues occur.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Consults with existing and potential clients to assess and understand equipment needs and system requirements during new product installations and facility visits.
  • Analyses failed, worn or new parts to help customers avoid system failures.
  • Works with international and domestic teams by drafting documentation and materials that explain products and services to customers.
  • Provides expertise and support to sales teams to communicate products and services.
  • Ensures that customer needs are met, which may include product modifications and process changes.
  • Provides support to customers and resolves problems with installed equipment.
  • Troubleshoots products and services.
  • Provides knowledge of mechanical equipment and inspection hand tools.
  • Assists with research and development of new products.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products and processes.
  • Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to products and services.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, Minitab, SolidWorks.
  • 40 percent travel required. Passport and valid drivers licensed will be required.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish.


Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering) or field related to products and services being sold preferred.

Two to four years of related product or sales experience preferred but open to new graduates in the Engineering field.


Position will require international travel and will offer relocation assistance for applicable candidates. Salary, profit sharing, and additional benefit package offered along with an amazing team environment with a well established company
