Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Elementary Instructor for the 2024-2025 academic year, leading 8 or fewer students in an intimate Christian learning community. The successful candidate will teach and implement educational programs, create lesson plans, grade assignments and tests, and engage with parents and students. He or she will also develop classroom management strategies and create a positive learning environment.


Qualifications

  • Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students
  • Experience in teaching elementary education and developing lesson plans
  • Knowledge of various teaching methods and techniques
  • Proficiency in technology, including basic computer skills and experience with educational technology tools
  • A Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field is required
  • State certification or willingness to obtain certification is preferred
  • Experience working in a Christian education setting is a plus
