The Construction Superintendent is accountable for defining the prevention and control strategy for managing construction risks and for ensuring compliance with applicable standards and conformance to relevant local legislation – whichever is the most onerous.


The Construction Superintendent is responsible for ensuring specific systems and processes are in place and in use for effectively identifying, assessing, managing and controlling risks associated with construction:


1. Preconstruction EHS planning.

2. Assurance of the construction EHS delivery.

3. Construction coordination with the Host Site.


You will be responsible for:


 To ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times.

 To lead the construction of a new multi-million pharmaceutical project, taking responsibility for the end-to-end service delivery.

 To act as the key, day to day project interface, ensuring that project objectives are met and that the project is delivered on time, within cost targets and to the highest quality standards.

 To ensure the project runs smoothly, ensuring the project is in line with the project schedule.

 Work closely the client team and their representatives on site including subcontractors, suppliers etc.

 The CTA has overall responsibility for monitoring and organising the construction (and demolition) activities and shall have a key role in prequalifying any contractors employed as part of the construction delivery.


Essential Qualifications & Certifications:


 Degree in a construction related subject.

 Chartered/qualified with APM, CIOB etc.

 Construction Management experience in pharmaceutical construction on projects over $50m.

 Experience of working in GMP environments.

 Experience in Integrated Project Delivery (preferred).
