Marketing Analyst - Wheeling, IL


Pay: $70k - $85k


M-F 8a - 5p


Position Overview:

The Marketing Analyst will be essential in driving our company's success by providing strategic insights and data-driven recommendations to the Sales Team and Senior Management. This role involves using data tools to create internal reports and compelling sales narratives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze syndicated data (e.g., NielsenIQ, Circana) and retailer-specific data to develop actionable insights and fact-based selling stories for customer presentations.
  • Create and deliver regular reports on category performance, market trends, and KPIs, highlighting observations and insights. Present these findings to key stakeholders, including retailers and senior management.
  • Use sales, industry, and market intelligence to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team to craft strategies and, when needed, support field sales efforts with customer visits and presentations.
  • Juggle multiple projects and reporting tasks, adjusting priorities as needed based on emerging opportunities and requirements.
  • Support internal projects and prepare materials as needed for customer requests.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience (CPG industry experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experienced in analyzing syndicated data (NielsenIQ/Circana) and interpreting market POS and household data.
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and dynamics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
