Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Regional Environmental Engineer to sit within their facility in Lansing, IL. Main responsibilities will include developing standards and policies to support regulatory, complete environmental performance analysis, establish metrics in accordance to company and federal standards, and performance phase one and phase two audits for air and waste permitting. This candidate will need to manage and oversee compliance across multiple levels of the organization, ensure work performed by consultants meets company standards, and develop metrics around plant environmental performance.
Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Presenting technical data and strategies to customers and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring adherence to formulation, safety, environmental, and other company standards or processes
- Prioritizing and managing multiple technically complex assignments simultaneously
This position will report directly to the EHS Manager and involve occasional travel (1-2x a quarter) to the other facilities in Chattanooga, TN and Cleveland, OH.
