This position will require the selected candidate to work in the company’s Edison, NJ office.

Responsibilities:

  • Design: Develop and implement cloud solutions architecture based on AWS services that meet the needs of the business.
  • Deployment: Manage and execute the deployment of cloud-based solutions, ensuring they are efficient and secure.

Consultation: Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate these into technical requirements and solutions.

Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and security.

Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for architecture designs, implementations, and standard operating procedures.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to AWS infrastructure and services.

Security: Implement best practices for security and compliance, including data protection and identity management.

Automation: Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency.

  • & Support:Provide guidance and training to team members on AWS services and best practices.
  • Release Management: Participate in agile release management processes, including sprint planning, release planning, and coordination of deployments. Ensure smooth and timely delivery of features and updates.

Requirements:

Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional level).

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing AWS infrastructure.
  • Skills: Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, IAM, and others.
  • & Programming: Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Networking: Strong understanding of networking concepts and experience with VPC design and management.

  • Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and orchestration tools.
  • Best Practices: Deep understanding of AWS security services and best practices.
  • Methodologies: Experience with agile methodologies and release management processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
  • Certifications: Other relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
  • with Databases: Proficiency in managing AWS databases like DynamoDB, Aurora, and RDS.

Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

  • & Logging: Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch, AWS Config, and third-party monitoring tools.
