Copyeditor

Our client, a wellness brand, is hiring a Copyeditor to join their team at a part time capacity, approximately 24 hours a week, onsite in NYC. This is a temporary slated until the end of January 2025.

Job Duties Include:

• Ensure content adheres to established style and brand guidelines
• Provide proofreading support for various channels, including email, TV commercials, social media, etc.
• Maintain awareness of media trends and best practices in content creation
• Update and maintain style guides as needed
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines
• Ad hoc duties as needed and assigned

Job Qualifications Include:

• 5+ years of experience as a Copy Editor or in a similar editorial role
• Familiarity with localization for UK and AU audiences
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent time management
• Proficiency in desktop publishing software and Microsoft Office
• A bachelor’s degree in journalism or English is preferred

Salary: $50 - $52.50/hr
