Description:

We are seeking a bilingual, reliable, coachable, and highly motivated individual to join our team of passionate dog trainers. This individual will facilitate Private In-Home Coaching sessions in addition to Board & Train programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about dog training and care, as well as be a brand ambassador for Canine by Design through delivering and maintaining a superior level of care and professionalism.

While professional dog training experience is preferred, we are open to hiring and training a candidate who will be a great fit for the team.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Private Coaching Sessions
• Train Basic Obedience Board & Train dogs in comfort of your own home
• Attend weekly team meetings
• Provide prompt & professional communication with team members and clients
• Be able to train a variety of dogs to ensure completion of curriculum
• Knowledgeable about dog training tools and uses
• Knowledgeable about dog training theory and ethology
• Regularly sanitize kennels and food/water bowls
• Bathe and groom dogs in Board & Train Programs
• Reliable and Self-Starter
• Good communication skills with an ability to build rapport & trust with clients

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Dog Training Experience
• Located in Salt Lake or Utah County
• Reliable transportation able to transport up to 2 dogs in crates
• Position requires bending, kneeling, lifting (up to 50 pounds, as necessary) and standing for long periods of time
• Ability to restrain and control any dog, ranging from 5lbs up to 120lbs.
• Fluent in Spanish and English
