Our client, a well-known entertainment company, is looking for a Content Analyst to join their team for a hybrid 3-month contract in Burbank, CA, This position requires working onsite Monday-Thursday. The Content Analyst will evaluate the investment and performance of content on streaming platforms across different distribution windows. This role involves analyzing various content genres, portfolio performance, content engagement, third-party licensing deals, and distribution strategies. Additionally, the analyst will report to leaders and help develop analytical methods and KPI tracking to assess content performance.


Responsibilities:


  • Analyze title-level and portfolio content performance using Excel
  • Create presentations summarizing analyses and insights on performance
  • Build models for deal valuations, greenlight decisions, and windowing strategies
  • Update title performance forecasts
  • Maintain datasets and presentation materials like weekly content categorization and quarterly title rankings


Required Qualifications:


  • 0-2 years experience
  • Proficiency in MS-Office, advanced Excel (including formulas), and willingness to learn Database - Looker
  • Interest in the entertainment and/or tech industries
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to solve complex problems using financial modeling and analysis
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts and data visualization.
  • Skillful in writing, presenting analyses, and PowerPoint
  • High emotional intelligence and professional maturity for executive-level engagement
  • SQL experience
  • Recent college graduates are preferred
  • 4-year degree in relevant fields with strong academic performance
