Description:

Current need for an Intermediate-Senior level Mechanical Engineer to prepare drawings and specifications of plumbing, including the development of initial plumbing concepts, and Fire Protection as well as a bit of HVAC systems. Proven experience in the design of building Mechanical systems, particularly commercial, retail, and residential buildings.


Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years or more preparing Mechanical and Plumbing Design drawings
  • Work with team to develop Plumbing & Fire Protection Design
  • Develop initial plumbing concepts.
  • AutoCAD is a MUST
  • Revit desired but not required.
  • Perform system design calculations, preliminary hydraulic, water, gas, sewer calculations.
  • Select equipment used in building systems.
  • Working knowledge of building codes
  • Good written and Verbal skills for report preparation and client interaction


Education:

Bachelors and/or Masters in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred.

(Non-degreed is also acceptable if coupled with heavy industry experience)
