Cullen and Dykman LLP is a full-service law firm that has been serving clients since 1850. We are seeking multiple insurance coverage litigation associates for its Construction Litigation group. There is a flexible remote rotation.


Candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years in insurance coverage experience as well as risk transfer and construction insurance coverage. Experience in construction defense and construction defect/property damage practice areas a definite plus. Must have depositions and court experience. Any insurance coverage experience will also be considered.


Educational/Experience Requirements

  • JD degree with excellent academic credentials.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Admitted and in good standing in New York; admission to New Jersey bar is a plus.
  • Experience should include interpreting insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions and litigating coverage matters including motions for summary judgment and appeals on coverage related issues. Demonstrable experience litigating declaratory judgment actions is helpful.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Strong professional judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proactiveness, resourcefulness, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task required.

We offer a competitive salary, an excellent benefits package and a collaborative, friendly environment. The salary range for this role is $85,000 to $150,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
