Position summary


V-Square is a rapidly growing global investment management firm, is currently seeking a Client Portfolio Manager within its Client Group. The individual will be responsible for new business development for V-Square within the institutional Marketplace, with a goal of growing assets within this segment. The selected candidate will be an exceptional communicator, will maintain/develop technical expertise in quantitative finance and thematic investing, as well as a deep knowledge of the institutional and intermediary’s asset management marketplaces.


Role and responsibilities:

Key requirements of the position include: 

·      Ensure high quality engagement with clients and prospects. Maintain an indepth understanding of 

the firm’s Factor, Passive, and thematic offerings with awareness of tax management. 

·      Work with our Research, Performance, Technology, Compliance, and Creative Services teams to 

develop presentation materials and strategy commentary. 

·      Own the RFP’s/RFI’s process and consultant relationship and database.

·      Outstanding presentation and communication skills, particularly via phone/video.

·      Exceptional client service/relationship building skills and demeanor.

·      Experience working with data for primary research.

·      Superior work ethic.

·      Ability to multi‐task.

·      Intellectual curiosity and passion for financial markets. CFA Designation preferred.

·      Strong analytical skills.

·      Self‐starter.

·      Strong time management and organizational skills.

·      Effective independent contributor with positive attitude and ability to drive initiatives independently.

·      High energy, motivated individual with commitment to excellence.

·      Champion a consistent adoption of Salesforce as a key tool for measuring the success of our distribution effort.

·      Minimum of 5 years direct product sales and/or management experience with an asset manager, a consultant or wealth manager.

·      Regular domestic client meeting travel.

·      BA/BS degree required.

 

Educational Requirements:


The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree with a demonstrated record of superior academic performance.
